Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 November 2026

Chatoox is a sales assistant for social inboxes. It has a browser extension and a website at chatoox.customerleadsmanager.com. This policy explains what we handle and why.

What we collect

How the extension uses chat content

The extension runs on Facebook Messages and the Meta Business Suite inbox. It reads the chat you have open so it can show the customer's name and any phone number they sent. It stays inactive on other pages. It does not read your other chats in the background, and it never sends messages for you.

When you use AI

AI is off until you turn it on. When it is on and you press Scan, the messages visible in that chat go to the AI company you chose, Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (ChatGPT), using your own key. We keep the result, such as the score, summary and suggested replies. We do not store the messages themselves.

Who receives data

We do not sell data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it for advertising or credit decisions.

Your customers' information

Your customers wrote the messages and details you handle in Chatoox. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to use their information and for telling them about it where the law requires.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your records while your account is open. To delete your account and its records, contact us.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Chatoox's use of information received from the browser complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
